As a part of my current task, I am trying to feed(/extracted) knowledge(/triples) from Freeling to the Ontology. I did go through Freeling tutorials and I did try to run the example 7(https://talp-upc.gitbooks.io/freeling-tutorial/content/code/example07.p…) but when I run the programme it does gives below error:
Questions and answers related to FreeLing linguistic data
I am having some troubles working with numbers in Catalan. In your demo page I use the text "tres mil" with Catalan language and using the default configuration and I get the following output:
But If I use the text "nou mil" with exactly the same configuration I get the output:
I found a small problem with the PoS tagging. In the sentence "Esperé a que volvieras" Freeling tags "Esperé" as a noun. If instead I use "Yo esperé a que volvieras" then "Yo" is tagged as the noun and "esperé" as the verb.
I can guess where the problem comes from. In spanish you don't need to specify the noun at the beginning of the sentence because the verb gives you this information. "Esperé" means "I waited", there's no need to write "Yo esperé".
I have just created an issue about a bug about dashes. I asked also (but probably the right place to ask it is here) if there is a place in then Freeling version running in my computer where I can add the dashes as they were like hyphens.
Thanks in advance. Best regards!
Consider the following statement:
"La sentencia dictada por la Sra. Juez Letrado de Primera Instancia de Montevideo"
When you use Freeling to parse for NER/NEC, you get:
Hello, I'm procesing text in server with "analyzer_client my.server.com:50005 myoutput" only with spanish text for the moment, but I should do it for all languages and analyze if someone speaks in English, French, Spanish or someother. I see in the documentation "lang_ident" and "lang "", but i don't know use that. Can you provide me any help for do it?
When I use the SemanticGraph to ask for the lemmas of the Frames on the Graph, I get the lemma in English, although I configure Freeling in Spanish, and I ask a question in Spanish.
If I try the Spanish sentence 'Dime el valor del coche.', the tagger says:
-------- TAGGER results -----------
Di decir VMM02S0
me me PP1CS00
el el DA0MS0
valor valor NCMS000
de de SP
el el DA0MS0
coche coche NCMS000
. . Fp
Is it possible to train FreeLing in specific domains? More precisely, we are thinking of processing medical (health and genomics) text, which includes specific terminology as genes, fenotypes (or health conditions / traits) and proteins.
Also, it would be very interesting to add (besides specific dictionaries) onthologies that pertain to these domains.
We can assume that English is the base language.
I am looking for morphological dictionaries for top 10 languages. For example, in Italian: ragazzo, ragazzi, ragazze, ragazza.
Hi! I was looking for some descriptions of the tags used in the DepTreeler module for spanish since the documentation only offers explanation for the Txala parser. Searching through other posts someone adviced trying to deduce their meaning out from context, but considering my lack of serious knowledge in linguistics at least a little guidance would be really appreciated...
Thanks in advance!
